We are happy to inform you that PrimeWater will be at the 2022 IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition in Copenhagen, Denmark!

During the 5-day event (11-15 Sept), PrimeWater consortium partners will present and showcase the project’s insights within the Congress programme.

On Monday 12 September, the workshop “Earth Observation technologies for Water Management: Building a Community of Practice” will take place. The session, organised in collaboration with the IWA Earth Observation for Water Management Community of Practice, will be chaired by Apostolos Tzimas (EMVIS S.A) and Katharine Cross (AWP). Three experienced EO professionals, Eva Haas, Christian Tøttrup, and Djalia Umutangampundu, will give different perspectives on the application and use of EO products and services in the management of water resources.

On Tuesday 13 September, Apostolos Tzimas (EMVIS S.A), Eva Haas (EOMAP), and Ilias Pechlivanidis (SMHI) will speak during the meeting “Delivering Advanced Predictive Tools for Water Dependent Industries“. Congress attendees will get the chance to learn more about the work being done in the PrimeWater project, as well as meet some of the PrimeWater partners and contribute to the discussion on how EO technology is being applied across the water sector.

Finally, on Wednesday 14 September, PrimeWater Project Coordinator, Apostolos Tzimas (EMVIS) will be speaking at the workshop “Digital Water: Benefits & Return for experience for the water sector“. The workshop will provide direct feedback on the most recent outcomes of digital water projects to a wide range of stakeholders such as students, young water professionals, researchers, practitioners, utility managers and policymakers.
